Need some work? I took it upon myself to scour Google for writing gigs. Here are the results of my research:

Note: These websites are in no particular order.

ProBlogger

This is a really popular site among those actively looking and offering work. Many of the employers on this site offer contract work for 3, 6, 9 months. Also, some jobs are listed under temporary, part-time and even full-time. Visit the ‘jobs’ tab and see new listings every day. There are two ways to apply, filling out the built-in form or clicking on Google form links.

Listiller

Listiller, although quite simple, is a solid platform for finding full-time work. Basically, people who have already worked jobs post ‘listings’ for those jobs on the job board. With Listiller, you can ‘strike’ the gigs you aren’t interested in and favorite gigs with the press of a button. More, you have the ability to apply for writing contests or find blogs that accept guess posts.

Upwork

Upwork focuses on both the work and the social aspect. If you’re interested, create a profile, upload a photo, and add relevant experience. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t have much or any, just make sure your work is excellent. Ask clients to share your profile with others for a chance to build momentum. Upwork has over 12 million registered freelancers. Pretty incredible huh?

Fiverr

Fiverr is similar to Upwork in regard to creating a profile and offering your services to clients. I’ve seen posts on other blogs/websites about Fiverr failing to offer consistent work, and this is true, to an extent. Fiverr has over 3 million active buyers, according to Backlinko. I wouldn’t worry about finding steady work. Once you work for a few clients, more will come.

BloggingPro

I love how they streamlined their website for ease of use. As soon as you visit BloggingPro, you can filter jobs for a neat list and choose the ones you fancy most. You can even see how long ago each job was posted directly to the right of the listing. BloggingPro excepts new registrants within 48 hours, so no waiting around for acceptance.
